How accurate is the tracker?

Accutrack Trackers are accurate to within 5 metres when locked on to a GPS signal. Even without a GPS signal the unit will revert to LBS using Cell phone towers to triangulate your position.

How do I track my vehicle?

Tracking your vehicle is easy and convenient. You have the option of using the Mobile App (Android and IOS compatible) on your Mobile phone or Tablet.

You also have the ability to use our web based platform on your PC or MAC.

You can also send text commands to the unit and it will respond with current location and a Google Map link.

How much will it cost me to track my vehicle?

Our tracking platform is 100% FREE to use for the life of your tracker. There is $0 charge to access all the relevant tracking information for your vehicle and device.

SIM costs however will vary from teclo’s so the choice is entirely up to you.

ALDI (Telstra Network) offer SIM plans from $5 which should be enough get started. Topups when needed cost from $15.

This plan and SIM should be more than enough for a full 12 months usage (if not longer) under normal usage conditions. So effectively, running your tracker for approx $20 for a full year.

Will the tracker flatten my Car battery?

Our trackers consume only a small amount of power to operate. The small amount of current required will not adversely affect your car battery life.

What happens if my car battery is disconnected?

Our trackers have a small internal battery which will provide enough power to keep the unit running with GPS signal for up to 2 hours.

Once the battery power is disconnected, the unit will send an alert to your tracking account, mobile app and phone if setup to do so.

Your tracker will then revert to LBS Mode (Mobile Tower Triangulation). IT will still report its last known location until power is restored.

My tracker is showing LBS when I try and track it?

Your tracker will revert to LBS Mode (Mobile Tower Triangulation) when the unit doesn’t have a strong enough GPS Signal or is out of range.

As soon as the GPS signal is restored, the unit will revert back to Full GPS tracking mode.

Am I able to Add more than one tracker to my account?

Absolutely. You can have as many trackers in your Free Tracking account as required. They will all show up on the main screen of your APP and you can switch between devices at your discretion at any time.

All units will be visible in your account.

How do I get support or Warranty for my tracker?

All Warranty and Support is handled locally here in Australia.
